National

Park

Tour

Volunteer & vacation on this epic trip through Zion, Grand Canyon and more.

TRIP OVERVIEW:

Give back while you explore some of the most stunning sites of the American Southwest. We'll start off by spending a couple of hours volunteering in Las Vegas with Clean the World before heading to Zion to work with the National Park Service.

Then it's time for rest and exploration with a hike to one of Zion's secret swimming holes. The next day, we'll tackle the national park's Emerald Pools hike followed by Canyon Overlook Trail.

On our final day we’ll journey to Antelope Canyon, a sacred site for the Navajo people, then swim in Lake Powell and take in views of the Grand Canyon.

Don't worry. There's plenty of time to kick back and enjoy the hot tub and some evening beverages.

We'll kick our National Park Tour experience off with a volunteer project with the folks at the Clean the World in Las Vegas. This is a great way to get to know everyone on the trip and give back in the process. Then, enjoy epic views as we drive to Zion National Park.

We'll spend the morning volunteering with the National Park Service. The project will vary based on their needs at the time. This is a great behind-the-scenes look at what the National Park Rangers do on a daily basis.

We'll kick off the morning with a big breakfast and drive through Zion National Park before getting our hike on.* Afterward, we'll head back to our sweet digs and enjoy some rest and relaxation. *These are not strenuous hikes.

An early morning wakeup takes us to the epic Lower Antelope Canyon. We'll then cool off in the blue waters of Lake Powell before taking in the one and only Grand Canyon. This a jam-packed day that ends with a dinner in Flagstaff, Arizona.

THE GOOD:

The National Park Tour consists of two volunteer projects.

Our first project is with Clean the World in Las Vegas. You'll spend a few hours with this amazing organization and learn how your time is giving the gift of good health to children and families around the world.

Our second volunteer project is in Zion National Park with the Park Rangers. The specific project will depend on their needs at the time. This is a great way to learn more about the future of our parks and give back in the process.

*A portion from each trip goes directly to these organizations.

WHAT FOLKS ARE SAYING:

ALANNA

Even six months later, I am constantly reminiscing of my Have Fun Do Good National Parks trip and wishing I could re-live it over and over. Adam and Ben are expert tour guides, passionate about what they do and provided plenty of laughs along the way. The group of amazing individuals on this trip added so much to the experience, and now I have friends from around the country. The sights were spectacular and the volunteer projects truly made the trip that much better, adding a layer of new perspective. I highly recommend booking with this company and I already cannot wait for my next HFDG trip!

REECE

I’ve taken the Costa Rica trip with HFDG. It was amazing! But the National Park Tour I took with them topped that! It’s a trip I’ll never forget. Where else can you visit several of the West’s most treasured landmarks in one trip with zero planning of your own? Aaaaand do good volunteering on top of that?! I can not describe how epic and memorable these trips are! If they added more locations I’d book every single one with no hesitation. Book now...you won’t be sorry!

SAM

I recently got back from an amazing National Parks tour trip with Have Fun Do Good. Adam and Ben were amazing trip leaders, organizing meaningful volunteer opportunities while also ensuring that the whole group had fun as well. For a reasonable price, I was able to explore national parks, see amazing vistas, hang out with fantastic people, and most importantly do good! This was my first time on a Have Fun Do Good Trip but it definitely won't be my last. Looking forward to Costa Rica and any other trips Adam and Ben put together!!
